Common questions

What temperature should I wash wool at on a Wascomat Crossover 2.0 Commercial Front Load?

Wash wool at 20C using the Delicate programme on the Wascomat Crossover 2.0 Commercial Front Load. Wool felts and shrinks permanently with heat and agitation.

What spin speed is safe for wool?

Use 400 rpm. A gentler spin removes enough water without stressing the fibres. Use a dedicated wool cycle, cool water and a low spin, then dry flat.

Do I need the care label to wash wool?

No. Lavo identifies the fabric and condition from a photo of the garment itself and gives the exact setting for your Wascomat Crossover 2.0 Commercial Front Load, even when the care label is faded, cut out, or missing.

What happens if I wash wool too hot?

Wool felts and shrinks permanently with heat and agitation. That is why the safe setting here is 20C on the Delicate programme.
