  2. Set the temperature to 20°C (program buttons themselves, where the button you press IS the temperature, and DELICATE always washes cold).
  3. Set the spin to 400 rpm (program itself, spin is fixed (Cold, Warm and Hot end with the full 6 minute extraction, Delicate with a shorter 2 minute one)).
  4. Add a suitable detergent and press green START button.

Why these settings

Polyester traps odour and can pill or hold creases if washed hot. Wash at 30C, turn inside out, and skip high heat in the dryer.

Polyester is easy care but holds odour and is heat sensitive, wash cool to avoid setting smells.

Common questions

What temperature should I wash polyester at on a Wascomat Crossover 2.0 Commercial Front Load?

Wash polyester at 20C using the Warm programme on the Wascomat Crossover 2.0 Commercial Front Load. Polyester traps odour and can pill or hold creases if washed hot.

What spin speed is safe for polyester?

Use 400 rpm. A gentler spin removes enough water without stressing the fibres. Wash at 30C, turn inside out, and skip high heat in the dryer.

Do I need the care label to wash polyester?

No. Lavo identifies the fabric and condition from a photo of the garment itself and gives the exact setting for your Wascomat Crossover 2.0 Commercial Front Load, even when the care label is faded, cut out, or missing.

What happens if I wash polyester too hot?

Polyester traps odour and can pill or hold creases if washed hot. That is why the safe setting here is 20C on the Warm programme.
