The LG WM4000HWA Front Load's programmes
- Normal: All normal items such as cotton, linen, shirts, jeans or mixed loads, except delicate fabrics such as wool or silk. Defaults to Warm and High spin. (up to 90°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Heavy Duty: Heavily soiled laundry such as cotton fabrics, using more powerful wash motions. Large loads have soak pauses of 2 minutes or more, which is normal. (up to 90°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Bedding: Blankets and bulky items that absorb water slowly, such as pillows, comforters, sheets or pet bedding. Do not mix with clothing. Up to Hot, spin Medium, Low or No Spin. (up to 60°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Delicates: Dress shirts and blouses, nylons, lingerie, sheer and lacy clothes that damage easily, under 8 lb. Warm, Cold or Tap Cold, spin Medium, Low or No Spin. (up to 40°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Perm. Press: Minimises wrinkles when washing tablecloths or wrinkle-free clothes. Up to Hot, spin up to High, default Medium. (up to 60°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Towels: Towels, shirts, jeans and mixed loads. Up to Hot, defaults to Extra High spin. (up to 60°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Speed Wash: Quickly washes small loads of 2 to 3 lightly soiled garments, under 3 lb, with very little detergent. (up to 60°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Sanitary: Washes clothes at a high temperature, Extra Hot only, using the washer's heater. (up to 90°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Allergiene: A powerful high-temperature cycle with steam that reduces allergens and dust mites in bedding and clothing. Not for wool, silk, leather or other delicate or temperature-sensitive items. (up to 90°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Bright Whites: White items only, under 15 lb. Defaults to Hot. (up to 60°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Tub Clean: A special cycle that cleans the inside of the washer. Run it empty.
- Rinse+Spin: Rinses and spins a load on its own, with no cycle selected, for example to stop fresh stains setting. All rinses use cold water. (up to 20°C, up to 1300 rpm)
- Spin Only: Hold Spin for 3 seconds with no cycle selected. Spins and drains, for example after a power cut or to spin hand-washed items. (up to 1300 rpm)
